  32. The sample program in this directory demonstrates the use of the vprintf
  33. family of functions.

  41. vprintf.c       Source code for the vprintf sample program.
  42. vprintf.def     Definition file needed for compiling the program.

  44. vprintf.exe     Compiled version of the vprintf sample.
  45. build.cmd       A command file which will compile and link the sample program.

  49. 3.  How to run the sample program

  52. The following steps show how the program can be run.
  53.  
  54.      1) Run the \i18n\bin\new_vars command file (or have the environment
  55.         variables already set).
  56.  
  57.      2) Set the current locale (e.g. to US English)
  58.  
  59.           Ex: set LANG=En_US
  60.  
  61.      3) Execute the vprintf.exe program.

  66. 4.  How to compile the sample program
  67. =====================================

  69. NOTE: The sample program is already compiled for you.  If you want to see the
  70.  behavior of the program, you can just run it.  The following instructions
  71.  are needed only if you want to modify the program and recompile it.

  73. To compile the sample application:
  74.  
  75.      1) Make sure that the CSET compiler and OS/2 toolkit are installed
  76.         correctly on your system.
  77.  
  78.      2) cd to the directory which contains the info source files.
  79.  
  80.      3) Type "build" at the command prompt.
