  16. Compulsive Gambler's Toolkit for OS/2 v1.10

  21. This version of Compulsive Gambler's Toolkit contains:

  23. Caribbean Poker 1.0
  24. Caribbean Stud Poker 1.3a

  27. INSTALLATION
  28.  
  29. Unzip GAMBLER.ZIP into a directory and run the enclosed Install
  30. program (INSTALL.CMD).  This will create a target directory if 
  31. necessary, copy files, and optionally create program objects.  You
  32. must have REXX support installed to run INSTALL.CMD.
  33.  
  34. To manually install, simply copy all files to a single directory
  35. and make program objects for the two EXE files, MPoker.EXE and
  36. CaribStd.EXE.  Neither requires command line arguments.
  37.  
  38. IMPORTANT - The Compulsive Gambler's Toolkit(TM) uses Dynamic Link
  39. Libraries for games and card faces.  If these files are copied into
  40. the game directory (default), make sure that the LIBPATH statement
  41. in CONFIG.SYS contains the current path (;.;)
  42.  
  43. That is, if:
  44.  
  45.     LIBPATH=F:\OS2;F:\OS2\MDOS
  46.  
  47. change to
  48.  
  49.     LIBPATH=.;F:\OS2;F:\OS2\MDOS
  50.  
  51. and reboot.  Alternatively, you may simply copy the *.DLL files to
  52. a directory already listed in LIBPATH, but this is not recommended.

  54. OPERATION
  55.  
  56. The games are fairly self explanatory.  Online help is available,
  57. although incomplete, especially for Multi Poker.  Multi Poker is
  58. an expandable game, and as of this release includes the following
  59. games:

  61.    Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Bonus Deluxe
  62.  
  63. User preferences, including statistical and financial data are
  64. stored in a single file, Gambler.INI, for both games.

  68. The Compulsive Gambler's Toolkit(TM) for OS/2 is freeware.  Feel
