  1. This is is CVS 1.10.7 compiled with PGCC/emx 1.1.3 for OS/2.  If you are
  2. unsure of what CVS is then please visit http://www.cyclic.com. Essentially it
  3. is an excellent OpenSource version control program.

  5. There is one correction to the source, which I noticed was causing
  6. strange behavior with 4OS2.  For some reason the CVS authors were shelling
  7. out to the OS/2 command line and running ATTRIB to change the read-only
  8. attrib on or off.  4OS2 prints out a line every time the ATTRIB comand is
  9. run, so it really cluttered up the screen (even with the -q flag).

  11. I changed it to be like the *nix sources and use the emx library function
  12. chmod(), which not only eliminated the strangeness, but significantly sped up
  13. the program.

  15. The changes are included in the diff/patch file patches.os2.  I have
  16. submitted these changes to the CVS maintainers.
