  2. Installation instructions.

  4. Shareware Installation:
  5.  
  6. Copy all package files to the directory you want to install to.  The
  7. subdirectory src\ is created from the unzip process and contains the
  8. source code of the demo program, bd2demo.exe.  Additional source code
  9. is in the online manual itself.

  11. From the install directory, do:
  12.  
  13.         [x:\]install
  14.  
  15. The installer asks a question, then converts the BULLET2.DL_ to the
  16. dynamic link library BULLET2.DLL.  Place BULLET2.DLL in a directory
  17. pointed to by your LIBPATH= statement in config.sys; the first real
  18. path being the best.  This allows the DLL to be automatically loaded
  19. whenever your programs use BULLET.

  21. Distribution and other license restrictions are detailed in the online 
  22. manual.  Use VIEW.EXE which comes with OS/2 to view the manual (type  
  23. [x:\]help VIEW  if you need more information).

  25. Order forms are included in the package (!ORDER.*), with detailed
  26. ordering instructions provided in the online manual.

  28. To use the Bullet library code to create an EXE, link with the
  29. BULLET2i.LIB import library, or use a .DEF file (the Bullet DLL exports
  30. 'BULLET').  See your linker documentation if more information is 
  31. required.

  33. If you have any installation problems with getting Bullet to work with 
  34. your compiler, unregistered users should direct help requests to
  35. info@40th.com.  This is for installation problems only.  Registered users
  36. should use support@40th.com, as always.  See the PRODUCT SUPPORT section
  37. in the manual for alternate support methods.

  39. Effective with this release, shareware versions will be updated on a
  40. regular basis, rather than once a year.  So, if this archive is older
  41. than a month or so, a new one most likely is available.  The most
  42. current versions are always at www.40th.com, or the 40th Floor BBS.
