  8.        Banner - the Banner for Afterstep

  10. SYNOPSIS
  11.        Banner is intended to be spawned by Afterstep.

  14. DESCRIPTION
  15.        The InitBanner displays an Afterstep Logo in the center of
  16.        the screen for 3 seconds.

  19. INVOCATION
  20.        Banner can be invoked by binding the action  'Module  Ban-
  21.        ner'  to a menu or key-stroke in the .steprc file.  after-
  22.        step will search directory  specified  in  the  ModulePath
  23.        configuration option to attempt to locate Banner. Although
  24.        nothing keeps you from launching Banner at start-up  time,
  25.        you  probably  don't  want  to.    You  can also give it an
  26.        optional file parameter,    like  'Banner    doomface.xpm'  or
  27.        spcify  an  alternate  default  pixmap  via  configuration
  28.        options.

  32.        *BannerPixmap file
  33.           Tells the module to display  file    instead  of  the
  34.           built in pixmap.

  38.           Tells the module to display for sec seconds instead
  39.           of default of 3.
