  49.   This is the first beta drop of Alpha Data Utilities, Inc.  MVS to
  50.   AS/400 conversion utilities.  The programs will run under both DOS
  51.   and OS/2.  The batch files can be copied to ".CMD" to execute under
  52.   OS/2.

  54.   Installation is quite simple. Just copy all of the files into a
  55.   subdirectory and add that subdirectory to you path.  Several of the
  56.   batch files look for control files in a certain subdirectories, the
  57.   ".bat" files should be modified to point to the directory where you
  58.   have placed the files.  These areas are flagged with a noted REM
  59.   statement.  Also if you copy these to ".cmd" files there is a call
  60.   to a temporary ".bat" file in each. The area is flagged and the
  61.   ".bat" should be changed to ".cmd".

  63.   The documentation is in file ADUAS400.DOC. Documentation is not my
  64.   strong point, if there is sufficient interest in these utilities I
  65.   will have the documentation redone.

  67.   Three files (aduabend,setupgdg,clnupgdg) need to be moved to the
  68.   AS/400 and compiled into the library where you will keep your
  69.   compiled CL.  These CL programs are called from the CL programs
  70.   generated by the JCL migration.

  74.    This software and programs are, and remain the property of Alpha
  75.    Data Utility, Inc., (ADU).  Material contained herein may be
  76.    considered proprietary and confidential to ADU.  You are granted a
  77.    limited license to use these programs on a trial basis.  At the end
  78.    of the trial you must destroy all program material or return it to
  79.    ADU.  These programs are being made available so you may see if
  80.    they are useful to you.  The programs are provided "AS IS". No
  81.    warranty is either implied, expressed, or given.  ADU shall not be
  82.    liable for misuse or for any damage either consequential or
  83.    inconsequential caused by use of this software.  At the end of the
  84.    trial period ADU will make this software available as either a
  85.    commercial or shareware product, or at their discretion, may
  86.    withdraw this product. This is not a shareware or freeware product
  87.    at this time.
