Expand this Table of Contents entry to access the general help for messages
used in RPG. The information provided in these help entries will not be
relevant unless accessed from messages provided by RPG tokenizer.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.1. Help for RPG0004I ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Explanation: The RPG tokenizer was called with an unknown option.
Response: Ensure that changes made to the language profile (the ".LXL" file)
are valid. If the problem persists, copy the profile from another workstation
to the directory specified by the CODESHRDIR environment variable in your
CONFIG.SYS file, or reinstall CODE on your workstation.

Response: Close all unnecessary windows and applications and try again.

Explanation: The specified LSX file may have been damaged.
Response: Retry the operation. If the problem persists, copy the LSX file from
another workstation to the directory specified by the CODEINIDIR environment
variable in your CONFIG.SYS file, or reinstall CODE on your workstation.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.7. Help for RPG0010I ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Explanation: DBCS characters in the entry field cause the input data to exceed
the allowable limit.
Response: Select Yes to truncate the input data at the allowable limit and
proceed.
Select No to cancel the operation.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.8. Help for RPG0011I ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Explanation: The prompt window for this line cannot be displayed because of
incorrect DBCS characters in one or more fields of the specification.
Response: You may edit the line from the Editor window, using the format line
as a guide for the RPG fields of this specification.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.9. Help for RPG0012I ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Explanation: The line for which you requested a prompt window contains at least
one null (x'00') character. Any text following a null character may be
truncated in a prompt window entry field, and lost when transferred to the
Editor window.
Response: Select No to end the prompt request. You may edit the line from the
Editor window, using the format line as a guide for the RPG fields in this
specification.
Select Yes to display the prompt anyway.

The length of the line from a prompt window exceeds the record length for the
file in the Editor window.
The file is read only.
Response: Perform one or more of the following:
Close all unnecessary windows and applications.
Check the File Properties window to see which record length is allowed for
this file.
Then, try again.

Response: Ensure the specified DLL is located in one of the directories
specified in your LIBPATH. If it is not, reinstall CODE on your workstation. If
the problem persists, contact the IBM Support Center or use your IBM link with
IBM Service if available.

Response: Ensure the specified DLL is located in one of the directories
