  2. This package contains a utility named EDITSLVL ("EDIT SysLeVel") and
  3. a document that describes the syslevel file format.
  4.  
  5. Editslvl can be used to create and edit syslevel files.
  6.  
  7. The following files are included:
  8.   
  9.                 - PM/WPS utility
  10.   EDITSLVL.EXE  - put in path (eg, C:\OS2)
  11.   EDITSLVL.HLP  - put in help path (eg, C:\OS2\HELP)
  12.   OPENDLG.DLL   - put in libpath (eg, C:\OS2\DLL)
  13.  
  14.   SYLMGR.EXE    - Command line utility
  15.  
  16.   SYSLEVEL.TXT  - syslevel document in ASCII text format
  17.  
  18. Online help is available for all the fields in editslvl.
  19.  
  20. To create a new syslevel file, type editslvl without any parameters.
  21. When the "Open a File" window appears, press the Esc key.
  22. Then press the "New" button on the main window.  You will be prompted for
  23. the path and filename of the syslevel file.  The name must be in the form:
  24. SYSLEVEL.XXX, where XXX is your assigned extension.
