  2. I have made two (selfmade) programs available to our LISTSERV
  3. of the OS/2 Discussion Forum at BLEKUL11. The programs are called READINI and
  4. WRITEINI and will function ONLY under OS/2 1.2. The READINI program makes a
  5. readable copy of the active OS2.INI file (by giving *OS2* as an argument), or
  6. of the active OS2SYS.INI file (by giving *OS2SYS* as an argument) or of an
  7. non-active INI file (specify the full filename as argument). WRITEINI reads
  8. the readable copy of the INI file  and recreates the (binary) INI file.

  10. I see two useful purposes for these programs : First of all you can now take a
  11. (autimates) backup of your active INI files. Secondly you can read and change
  12. your ini file in a simple editor.

  19. These files are ditributed AS IS, I can not guarantee anything about
  20. their working. These files are all XXencoded ZIP files. To use these
  21. files you must first XXdecode (I recommend our own version of XXdecode
  22. which works under OS/2) and UNZIP (I recommend PKZIP also under OS/2).
