  8.    PC-TAGS(tm) and its related programs are NOT public domain or freeware!
  9. The PC-TAGS package is a copyrighted software product developed and owned by
  10. Moderne Software.
  11.  
  12.    PC-TAGS is distributed as shareware.  As such, individuals may evaluate
  13. the PC-TAGS package for a maximum period of 30 days.  At the end of the
  14. evaluation period, if you find PC-TAGS to be a useful tool and wish to
  15. continue using it, you must register your copy with Moderne Software.
  16.  
  17.    Registration of the DOS version of PC-TAGS is $34.95.  A version that
  18. will run under both the DOS and OS/2 operating systems is available for
  19. $69.95.
  20.  
  21.    All payments must be in U.S. dollars.
  22.  
  23.    Upon receipt of your registration, a copy of the registered version of
  24. the PC-TAGS software package will be sent to you.  Included in the
  25. registered version is a printed copy of the PC-TAGS manual.  In addition,
  26. you will be entitled to technical support and future releases at a reduced
  27. price.

  29.    To register your copy of PC-TAGS, fill out the order form contained in
  30. the file called ORDERFRM and mail it with payment to the address specified
  31. on the form.

  34. Corporations and Institutions
  35. -----------------------------
  36.    A license is required for use of PC-TAGS within corporations and
  37. institutions.  This license allows internal use and copying of the program
  38. and manual by as many users/machines as are licensed.  The license fee is
  39. based upon the number of machines on which the PC-TAGS package will be
  40. running.  An unlimited Site License is also available which allows unlimited
  41. copying of the software for internal use by your company.

  44.    The following schedule shows the license fees for the DOS version of
  45. PC-TAGS:

  56. PC-TAGS  (Note: The OS/2 version will also run under DOS.):

  66.    Regardless of the quantity, one diskette containing the registered
  67. program and one printed PC-TAGS manual will be sent to you.  Upon receipt,
  68. you may make as many copies of the package as were licensed.  Additional
  69. printed manuals may be purchased for $3.00 each.

  71.    Licenses for corporations and institutions to distribute, repackage or
  72. resell the program to third parties are available by contacting Moderne
  73. Software.

  75.    Shareware disk distributors, computer user groups and computer bulletin
  76. boards may distribute the unregistered version of PC-TAGS without a
  77. distribution license provided the entire PC-TAGS package, including all
  78. support programs, documentation files and registration form, is included in
  79. the distribution and a fee not to exceed $10 is charged for such
  80. distribution.

  86. THE PC-TAGS PRODUCT IS LICENSED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF
  87. MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, PERFORMANCE, OR
  88. OTHERWISE.  ALL WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.  BY USING THE PC-TAGS
  89. PRODUCT, YOU AGREE THAT NEITHER STEVEN CALWAS NOR MODERNE SOFTWARE NOR ANY
  90. OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, SHAREHOLDERS, AFFILIATES, OWNERS, OR OTHER
  91. RELATED PARTIES WILL BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY USE OF (OR
  92. INABILITY TO USE) OR PERFORMANCE OF THIS PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES
  93. WHATSOEVER WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE EVEN IF WE ARE
  94. NOTIFIED OF SUCH POSSIBILITY IN ADVANCE. (SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE
