The Image Toolkit is a System Dll used to provide a variety of support options for several
Presentation Manager applications, such as:
PMDRAW - A neat image creation and modification program. Works with a variety of
images formats including BMP and GIF.
OS2MAGNIFY - Magnify a portion of your screen, now you can see what those little icons
really look like! Prints, clipboard options, etc.
SCRAP - Screen capture utility. I haven't tried this one yet.
IBROW - Image Browsing utility. I haven't tried this one yet.
To install the image toolkit:
1. Copy the two dll files into a directory which is on your LIBPATH. I keep a userdll
directory in the path, so that my stuff is isolated from the OS for backup purposes.
Note: If you add a new directory to LIBPATH in your Config.sys, you will have to do
a restart for it to take effect.
2. From an OS2 command prompt, change to the directory where your image toolkit files
are located. Type ITKINSTA /IITKFMT16. The toolkit will be permanently installed.
You can use ITKINSTA to remove it later if you wish.
