  5. Welcome to the third release of  Object Rexx TarGzPm.  I hope you find this 'email ware' 
  6. useful.  If you wander where the numbers go between releases
  7. 1.02  to this one, its because I give each update a new number and not all of 
  8. these are released until they are stable?  Most of the documentation is included in 
  9. an OS/2 inf file...though heres a few pointers
  10.  
  11. This version has lots of new features.... including... since there have been so many changes,
  12. please let me know if I have added any new bugs!

  14. What it Does

  17. Creates Archives with Tar.gz extension
  18. Unarchives *.tar.gz, *.tgz, *.tar, *.Z, *.zip Files
  19. Can Create new directories to unarchive into
  20. Lists the contents of tar.gz files, which can be viewed via an editor or through 
  21. Association
  22.  
  23. System Requirements

  25. OS/2 version 3 +
  26. Rexx installed with OS/2 Object Rexx
  27. Tar.exe Gzip.exe and unzip.exe must be on your path (not the program dir) to use this program, or you
  28. will get a warning Dialog which closes the prog

  32. If you have a Lynux partition you can also get a driver so OS/2 can view
  33. and write to it...

  37. I have included an install prog, please use it even if updating...... as some of the variables

  41. In the file menu "Delete Temp", closes "open file" and Deletes the Master
  42. Temp dir, note This will work when files are open
