  1.    This is a PM interface for the Zip/Unzip utilities. I designed it to be used
  2. with drag and drop of WPS objects. I figure if you wanted to type a bunch of
  3. stuff, you'd be using the command line programs anyway. I have tried to
  4. design the program to be as intuitive as possible so you should be able to get
  5. going immediately. If you need help on something, check the "Hint Bar" at the
  6. bottom of the window. Pressing the right mouse button while over a container
  7. will bring up help on what that container does. I have only tested the program
  8. with the latest versions of zip.exe (2.0.1) and unzip.exe (5.12) and of course,
  9. this program is useless unless you have these programs in your PATH. 
  10.    To install the program, unzip this file in its own directory and run the install
  11. program by typing "install". This will create a Drop and Zip object on your
  12. desktop. You can then drop ZIP files on it or start it by double clicking.
  13.    This is the first release, so there are bound to be hidden features :-) I
  14. haven't uncovered. Please report any problems to terrell@algol.iras.ucalgary.ca

  17.    This program is distributed as shareware which means that you have 30 days to
  18. try out the program and see if it suits your needs. After 30 days, continued use
  19. requires that you register the program. The registration fee for Drop and Zip is
  20. $10 US or $13 Cdn. I can accept checks drawn on US or Canadian banks and International
  21. money orders. Registrations encourage me to make further improvements to the
  22. program. :-) If you receive this file after August 1995, it is quite possible that
  23. I may no longer be in Calgary. Your best bet is to send email to 
  24. algol@genie.geis.com to find out where I am.
  25.    Finally, lest the lawyers start salivating, no warranty, expressed or implied,
  26. is made concerning the suitability of this product for your needs. The program is
  27. delivered "as is" and you use it at your own risk.
