Extract2
Ver 1.8 - 03/31/91
An UnZip/UnArc Utility
Copyright (C) 1989, 1991 FreeLance Programming. All rights reserved.
Level #: Comments:
1.0 Released as UnZipII; an unzipper for OS/2 only
1.1 Renamed to Extract2; added DOS support; added ARC support
1.2 Two minor bugs were fixed, one dealing with creating
sub-directories when using the "-d" command, and the other
dealing with .ZIP files within .ZIP files.
1.3 Format changes only; no processing was affected
1.4 Added support for .LZH files (created by LHARC)
(does *not* include .LZS files, created by LARC)
1.5 Added support for the latest .ZIP file compression method
("imploding") as well as for encrypted members of .ZIP files.
Also, found and fixed a significant bug in .LZH member
processing that could cause large members in .LZH files
to be handled incorrectly.
1.6 Minor patch to fix problems with the archive file name
displaying incorrectly for .zip's with comments > 256 bytes.
1.7 Problem with UnSqueezing .ARC members found and fixed.
1.8 Added (belated) support for sub-dirs stored in .ARC files.
Added return code (errorlevels) for various error conditions.
The program now detects insufficient disk space conditions and
aborts processing, rather than creating a bunch of 0 length files.
