AutoPAN 1.0 for BlueCAD
-----------------------
AutoPAN is an application that enables automatic panning in BlueCAD. When
the mouse cursor reach the borders, the viewing area is moved.
There isn't a settings panel, so you can't change move timer and pan
displacement. This may be added in future, based on users feedback.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CADWARE PRODUCT AND IT IS NOT SUPPORTED BY ANY MEANS BY
CADWARE. ITS USE IS AT YOUR OWN SOLE RISK AND RESPONSABILTY.
THICK.RXM
---------
There is also a bonus macro with this DLL: color to thickness automatic
conversion; one of the limits of BlueCAD while printing drawings, is that
the line thickness must be manually changed for every primitive in the
drawing. Using this macro, you can change thick with a mouse click!
You can modify the supplied autopan.c2t file (located in your x:\bluecad\prgm
directory) to customize your favourite settings.
Note: this macro doesn't work for blocks; you need to explode them, run the
macro, and create the block again.
*-Ware status
-------------
This software is released as Share-Ware. So if you like it, I ask you to
register it. Registration fee is $5 and can be sent to my address (below).
Unregistered version have a 10 [min] limit for every BlueCAD session, and
the thick macro works only on the first 3 colors.
Installation
------------
Run the install.cmd script to add all necessary entries to your
BlueCAD initialization files.
How does it work
----------------
Simply move the cursor near the borders of the drawing area. The mouse pointer
must not move for 0.5 [sec]. Then the drawing is moved of about 25% of the
current view.
Pressing the ALT key, disables the autopan feature: this can be useful when
selecting colors, linetypes or thickness.
Pressing SHIFT the timer is disabled and AutoPAN occurs immediately; also
movement is faster.
The CTRL key can be used as Zoom Window shortcut: clicking on the view area
with CTRL down activate the 'Zoom Window' command. Be aware that the mouse
click could conflict with the current active command.
On slow computers with a slow video card, screen painting can be very
frustrating, because BlueCAD doesn't have a display list and painting is
not multithreaded. There are no workarounds to this problem at this time.
