IV. Description
Stellar Frontier is a real-time multimedia networked game where you compete
against other players around the world via the internet. The game play is
similar to the X-Trek or Net-Trek games which have been played on X-Window
systems for years. You (the player) begin with the choice of joining in
battle with any of the forces currently involved or fighting solo. The
basic idea is to gain control of the star system in which the game is set
by occupying the planets. The action is arcade-like and we intend,
through the use of multimedia, to make you believe that you are flying
through, and fighting battles in space.
