SeaHaven Towers for OS/2 v2.3 is a solitaire card game. It is shareware,
not freeware, which means you are free to use it for a trial period
of 30 days before you are required to register it.($15) It also means that
you are allowed to distribute it all you want as long as you don't charge for
more than the media costs and distribution fees, So if you're a shareware
provider (like a shareware CDROM manufacuter), feel free to include this
program.
To install the game, unzip the package into a temporary directory, such as
C:\TEMP. Run the install script from this directory. The install script
will unpack the files into the user specified directory and also create
a WPS object for the executable.
If the above script doesn't work, you can manually install it by unpacking
the files using the unpack.exe command shipped with OS/2. Copy the files
to any directory and type
unpack seahelp.hl_
unpack seahaven.ex_
If you're using OS/2 Warp, you can use
unpack seawarp.ex_
instead of seahaven.ex_. The seawarp.ex_ is exactly the same as seahaven.ex_
except it makes use of Warp's ability to have packed resources to result in
a 300k smaller executable. You'll then have to creat a program object
for it yourself.
See the online help for information about how to play, the options, and
registration.
