  4. RELEASE NOTES
  5. This version features:

  7.  + new keyboard handling code by Silas Dunsmore that brought the OS/2 version
  8.    in sync with the Windows port.
  9.  
  10.  + compiling optimizations for both speed and size, and some fixes by
  11.    Marco G. Salvagno.
  12.  
  13. The code by Silas is now already included in the official Angband distribution,
  14. my changes will be made available later on the Angband official ftp site, and
  15. will be hopingly merged into the official code.
  16.  
  17. Please note that you will probably run into problems when trying to compile the
  18. official distribution without changes. In this case you'll need my patches
  19.  
  20. For any problem or question regarding the Angband game in general, refer to the
  21. newsgroup rec.games.roguelike.angband. Also, there is a number of good pages
  22. on the web which can answer the most common and even most uncommon questions
  23. about Angband.
