cweMore v1.3
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Description
~~~~~~~~~~~
This is cweMore, a 'better' MORE command. Use it just like your
normal MORE using the | (pipe) character. Once the file has started
displaying and you get the '-more-' prompt, you can use the following
keys to modify cweMore's behavior:
Q (or) ESC - Abort output and return to command line.
C (or) N - Stop paging and display the rest of the
output nonstop.
SPACE (or) P - Display the next 23 lines of text.
ENTER - Display the next line of text.
Additionally, if you have NOT changed to continuous mode, cweMore
will pause at the end of the output and wait for a keypress, so that
you have time to check the output in case the window is about to
close.
Both a 16-bit DOS version and a 32-bit OS/2 version (using EMX) are
provided. You must have EMX 0.9c or higher installed for the OS/2
version. The OS/2 version *will* work with RSX, but it's suggested
that you use the native DOS version, since it's not a protected-mode
program and won't mess up any multitasking you might be doing.
Contact <support@cwe.cx> for problems or suggestions, or visit our
webpage at <http://cwe.cx/files/cwesoft/> for other great CWE
utilities. Thanks for your interest.
