  13. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors, Disk Vendors
  14. and Computer Clubs who wish to distribute the Freelance Search and
  15. Replace 2.0 package.

  22.                          Distribution Requirements
  23. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

  25. Individuals who wish to distribute the Freelance Search and Replace
  26. package to friends or associates may do so in accordance with the
  27. restrictions outlined in LICENSE.DOC.
  28.  
  29. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add the Freelance Search and
  30. Replace package to their disk library may do so in accordance with the
  31. Distribution Restrictions listed below.

  33. Limited Distribution License:

  36. As the exclusive copyright holder for Freelance Search and Replace, We
  37. authorize distribution only in accordance with the following
  38. restrictions.

  40. ASP Approved Vendors in good standing are hereby given permission to
  41. distribute Freelance Search and Replace package.  Non-ASP member vendors
  42. must request permission prior to distributing this package.
  43.  
  44. The Freelance Search and Replace package is defined as containing all
  45. the material listed in the PACKING.LST text file.  If any files listed
  46. in the PACKING.LST text file, or the PACKING.LST file itself, are
  47. missing, then the package is not complete and distribution is forbidden.
  48. Please contact RAM Utilities to obtain a complete package suitable for
  49. distribution.

  51. The Freelance Search and Replace package - including all related program
  52. files and documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must
  53. be distributed as a complete package, without exception.  The
  54. PACKING.LST text file contains a list of all files that are part of the
  55. Freelance Search and Replace package.  Small additions to the package,
  56. such as the introductory or installation batch files used by many
  57. shareware disk vendors, are acceptable.

  59. No price or other compensation may be charged for the Freelance Search
  60. and Replace package.  A distribution fee may be charged for the cost of
  61. the diskette, shipping and handling, as long as the total (per disk)
  62. does not exceed US$10.00 in the U.S.  and Canada, or US$15.00
  63. internationally.

  65. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  67. The Freelance Search and Replace package CANNOT be sold as part of some
  68. other inclusive package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial
  69. software packaging offer, without a written agreement from us.

  71. ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute the Freelance Search and
  72. Replace package as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or
  73. a CD-ROM package) may do so provided that all the other restrictions are
  74. met.
  75.  
  76. Vendors (non-ASP Vendor Members) who wish to distribute the Freelance
  77. Search and Replace package as part of a collection (such as PsL's
  78. MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM package) must obtain permission from us prior
  79. to beginning such a distribution.

  81. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:

  83. If you would like to distribute the Freelance Search and Replace package
  84. as a Disk-of- the-Month, or as part of a subscription or monthly
  85. service, then the following restrictions apply:

  87. ASP Associate (Disk Vendor) Members in good standing are hereby given
  88. permission to distribute the Freelance Search and Replace package under
  89. the Disk-of- the-Month style of distribution.  Others (non-ASP Members)
  90. must contact RAM Utilities in advance to ensure that you have the most
  91. current version of the software.

  93. The Freelance Search and Replace package cannot be "rented" or "leased"
  94. to others.
  95.  
  96. You may not list any of RAM Utilities products in advertisements,
  97. catalogs, or other literature which describes our products as "FREE
  98. SOFTWARE".  Shareware is "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not free.
  99.  
  100. Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  101. disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed
  102. program except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use
  103. shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  105. U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the
  106. U.S. Government of the computer software and documentation in this
  107. package shall be subject to the restricted rights applicable to
  108. commercial computer software as set forth in subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of
  109. the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at
  110. 252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013).  The Contractor/manufacturer is

  148.   FL-SARxx.ZIP. where xx is the version number. For example,
  149.   version 1.3 would be FL-SAR13.ZIP. Of course, other file name
  150.   extensions are perfectly acceptable when compression programs
  151.   other than PKZIP are used. Please, erase all previous versions!

  161.   Lotus Freelance for Windows. This easy to use program acts as an
  162.   external program to Freelance (i.e. it isn't integrated into
  163.   any Freelance menus.

  167.   Freelance Search and Replace provides an easy to use text search and
  168.   replace capabilities to Lotus Freelance for Windows.  Freelance has
  169.   no capability to take an existing presentation and rapidly replace
  170.   all occurrances of a string in the program.  Often users want to
  171.   take a file (such as a proposal), and change all the customer names
  172.   in the file and give it to another customer.  This easy
  173.   to use program give the user the capability to search and change
  174.   up to four (4) string at a time.  It is an external program
  175.   to Freelance (i.e. it isn't integrated into any Freelance menus) that
  176.   is run from its own icon.
