  1. File Phoenix will scan a selected drive and list all files
  2. which are (possibly) recoverable. You can then select one or
  3. more files and recover them to another drive.
  4.  
  5. File Phoenix also allows you to:
  6.  
  7.      1) View the first 4096 bytes of a file before
  8.         recovering it.
  9.      2) View each cluster of an erased FAT file and
  10.         decide whether you want to recover it or skip
  11.         it.  This is especially useful when recovering
  12.         files who's clusters were not contiguous.
  13.      3) Search the free space on a FAT drive for text and
  14.         start recovering data from where the text was found.
  15.  
  16. Both HPFS and FAT drives are supported.
  17.  
  18. Use the right mouse button to display the context menu.
  19. You can do this with the mouse over the main window or over
  20. a file in the list of recoverable files.
  21.  
  22. Startup parameters:  -r  - does not use the saved window
  23.                            position and size from the
  24.                            previous invocation.  This is
  25.                            useful if you change the
  26.                            resolution for your monitor.
