  8.         Text files from within various directories on your system
  9.      may be configured here for display.  Types of text files commonly
  10.      configured here include (but are not limited to):
  11.  
  12.         ∙  game scoreboards
  13.         ∙  general information about your BBS
  14.         ∙  standard operating procedures / rules for your BBS
  15.         ∙  information about viruses
  16.         ∙  rules of "netiquette"
  17.  
  18.      and so on.
  19.         To add a new entry to the text section configuration,
  20.      press [F1] at the scrolling-window screen.  You will be prompted
  21.      for the following information:

  23.      1) Name
  24.         ════
  25.         The name of the text section, as it will appear to the
  26.         user.
  27.  
  28.      2) Path
  29.         ════
  30.         The full pathname to the directory in which the text
  31.         file(s) is located.
  32.  
  33.      3) Security Level
  34.         ══════════════
  35.         The MSL needed to access this particular text section.
  36.  
  37.      4) Access Flag
  38.         ═══════════
  39.         The access flag needed to access this particular section
  40.         (please see "The User Editor" for more on access flags).

  42.      To edit an entry, move the highlight bar to the desired entry
  43.      and press [Enter].  You will have a chance to edit the above
  44.      information.
  45.         In VCONFIG, you can define any directory on your system as
  46.      containing text for a defined subject area.  Text directories may
  47.      be networked by using a script maintaining a database for text
  48.      files.
