  8.         VBBS allows up to 20 timed events per day.  Possibilities
  9.      for these events include your daily external maintenance routine
  10.      (usually done through a batch file or three), network dialouts,
  11.      online game maintenance, etc.

  13.      1) Time
  14.         ════
  15.         The time the event is to run, entered in HH:MM format
  16.         using military time.  A time of 00:00 disables the event.
  17.  
  18.      2) Command Line
  19.         ════════════
  20.         The DOS command line or batch file to execute.  For exam-
  21.          ple, you might enter
  22.  
  23.            C:\VBBS\EXTERNAL.BAT
  24.  
  25.         for an external daily-cleanup routine.  Complete pathnames
  26.         are not required if the routines are located in your main
  27.         VBBS directory, but it's better to make sure.

  30.      There are a number of external utilities specifically designed
  31.          for use with VBBS; they are listed in APPENDIX K. For online-game
  32.      maintenance, please consult the game documentation.
