│ MegaTIC functions just like any other program that is controlled by
│ netmail. For example, the same commands that are used by AllFix can also
│ be used by MegaTIC.
│
│ To use MTIC, just write a netmail using the following example:
│

│ The text of the message can contain many different commands. The following
│ is a list of accepted commands and their functions.

├--------[ Ordering & Cancellation Of Areas ]-------------------------------
│
│ [+]areaname - Will order 'areaname'
│ [+]* - Orders all areas available to you
│
│ -areaname - Will cancel 'areaname'
│ -* - Cancels all areas you are connected to
│
├--------[ General Commands ]-----------------------------------------------
│
│ %MTIC - Sends MTIC's version information to the
│ user
│
│ %HELP - Sends this help textfile
│
│ %STATUS - Shows information and settings about your
│ connection with this system
│
│ %LIST - Lists all areas available to you from this
│ system
│
│ %PAUSE - Places your node inactive. For example when you
│ are on vacation. Same effect as %ACTIVE OFF
│
│ %QUERY - A list of all areas that you are connected to
│
│ %RESUME - Places your node as active. For example when you
│ return from vacation. Same effect as %ACTIVE ON
│
│ %UNLINKED - A list of all available echos that you are not
│ connected to
│
├--------[ Switching Commands ]--------------------------------------------

│ %ACTIVE ON|OFF - Places your node as active or inactive.
│ See also the General Commands %PAUSE and
│ %RESUME for more details
│
│ %FILEPACK ON|OFF - If set to ON, will cause all data to be packed
│ into one archive, as opposed to sending each file
│ seperatley
│
│ %INFOTXT ON|OFF - If set to ON, MTIC will send an information
│ netmail about the files(s) that you have received
│ from this system
│
│ %TICPACK ON|OFF - If set to ON, will cause all TIC files to be
│ compressed into one archive. If OFF, MTIC will
│ send each TIC seperatley
│
│ %TIC ON|OFF - Specifies wether or not MTIC should send TIC
│ files
│
├--------[ Directions ]----------------------------------------------------

│ %RESCAN [areaspec] [,f=fspec] [,m=maxfiles]
│ Values: areaspec=*, fspec=*.*, maxfiles=99999999
│ Sends all files according to the specified criteria that are
│ no more than 14 days old to this system. For older files,
│ contact the sysop
│ For more parameters, see the %SENDME command below
│
│ %SENDME [areaspec] [,f=fspec] [,m=maxfiles]
│ Values: areaspec=*, fspec=*.*, maxfiles=99999999
│ Sends all data according to the specified values. Will send
│ all files equal to 'fspec' from area 'areaspec' with a maximum
│ file limit of 'maxfiles'. See examples below:
│

│ Examples: %SENDME f=*.jpg,m=20
│ will send a maximum of 20 files with the extension of ".JPG"
│ from all areas that you have activated
│
│ %SENDME 2-BBS,m=30
│ will send a maximum of 30 files from the area "2-BBS"
│
│ %SENDME NODE*,f=*.zip,m=2
│ will send a maximum of two files with the extension of ".ZIP"
│ from any of your available areas that begin with "NODE"
│
│ %PWD .... - changes your password to ......
│ %PW .... Example: PWD QWERTY or PW QWERTY will change
│ your password to QWERTY
