  11. '│ GENERAL.MSG and GENERAL.FIL are always the standard when a user logs    │
  12. '│ in!?! They MUST exist... Conferences are optional! The user can         │
  13. '│ change from conference with the JOIN command, The standard general will │
  14. '│ always be listed in the conference list! If you don't want conferences  │
  15. '│ only use general.fil and general.msg and don't specify any CONF commands│
  16. '│ DON'T delete Conf.CFG otherwise AcroBat/2 won't launch....              │
  17. '│ Uploads goes always in the same dir, so it's best to add him at all     │
  18. '│ conferences... For those who used some earlier versions of AcroBat/2    │
  19. '│ is here some extra info: It's best to rename your FILEAREA.CFG to       │
  20. '│ GENERAL.FIL and MSGAREA.CFG to GENERAL.MSG. That way you use it like you│
  21. '│ were used too. However it's recommended to add conferences for your     │
  22. '│ users. Everything is more organised in categories. It's useless for a   │
  23. '│ user to search all win categories if he is only interested in OS/2      │
  24. '│ Onces the users are used too it, it's a very powerfull tool. It also    │
  25. '│ speeds up searches, etc... Everytime a user joins a conference, he can  │
  26. '│ also scan for new mail in that categorie....  If you find this all dif- │
  27. '│ ficult, only use general.fil and general.msg and remove all CONF in this│
  28. '│ file. Each conference MUST have 1 msgarea with sysopfeedback for NUC... │
