  27.   I. WHAT IS THE aiNet?

  30.   The aiNet is a very powerful (Windows 3.1) neural network-like
  31.   application and is designed specifically to facilitate modeling task
  32.   in all neural network problems, where such tasks would be difficult or
  33.   even impossible with other neural network applications currently 
  34.   available for MS Windows 3.1 or MS DOS.
  35.  
  36.   SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  37.   The aiNet requires Microsoft Windows 3.1 running in STANDARD or 
  38.   ENHANCED MODE, approximately 2MB of disk space and 4MB of RAM in your
  39.   system.  Also, a VGA, SVGA, or other high resolution 
  40.   monitor is recommended. A mouse or other pointing device is also required.

  57.   II. SETTING UP THE aiNet ON YOUR SYSTEM

  60.   STEP 1. Make a separate directory anywhere on your system and store ALL
  61.   of the distribution files that are part of the aiNet in that directory.
  62.  
  63.   STEP 2. Install the aiNet executable file 'AINET.EXE' in a Program 
  64.   Manager application folder.
  65.  
  66.   STEP 3. To run the aiNet application, select the aiNet icon by double-
  67.   clicking on it.
  68.  
  69.   To print the manual, you need a Winword 6.0 application. If you do not
  70.   have any access to Winword 6.0, then you may try to down-load a 
  71.   postscript version of the manual. The postscript version is packed into
  72.   AINPS100.ZIP file. You should find this file on the same place and 
  73.   in the same directory as you get the AINET100.ZIP file.

  76.   III. TIPS ON USING THE aiNet

  79.   The aiNet comes with a manual where some features are explained more in
  80.   detail and many examples are presented. We strongly recommend you to
  81.   read this manual first. Reading the manual will be the fastest way to
  82.   get familiar with the aiNet application.

  84.   The aiNet has an extensive on-line help system. Documentation contained
  85.   in the on-line system explains almost every feature of the product.
  86.   You can invoke on-line help any time either by pressing the F1 function 
  87.   key, or by pressing the Help button.
