  1. **** NOTE TO DIRECTORY ORGANIZER:

  3. Thanks so much for working so hard to keep the DOOM directories of wads
  4. organized!  I appreciate it, and understand it's a tough job.
  5.  
  6. I received some mail about my BEWARE.WAD file, and got many letters saying
  7. it was a good wad, but needed a bit more health bonuses and armour, and
  8. other little things to help it be a little easier.  I did more than that:
  9.  
  10. This new version of BEWARE has been altered as such:
  11.  
  12.                 * Filled with extra health bonuses and suits of green and
  13.                         blue armour
  14.  
  15.                 * IDBSP was implemented, and managed to speed up the wad
  16.                         generously, because IDBSP only partitions the
  17.                         tree when neccesary, not completely to balance it:
  18.                         It worked wonders on BEWARE.
  19.  
  20.                 * Some items have shifted, creatures have possibly moved
  21.                         somewhat, but otherwise, lindefs, sectors, tags,
  22.                         and other have generally been unchanged.
  23.  
  24. If you find the time, please destroy the old copy of BEWARE, and replace it
  25. with this one-- the old one was too hard, according to my mail...
  26.  
  27. If you don't care if both versions of BEWARE go on the net, go ahead and
  28. change the wadfile to "BWARENEW.WAD", so that it matches the text file.
