  1. Short:    MapROM tool for Blizzard turbos. V1.10.

  9. BlizKick is used to rekick any Kickstart ROM image with blizzard turbo
  10. boards having MAPROM feature (jumper). It has been tested with BLIZZARD
  11. 1230-I, 1230-III, 1230-IV, 1240-T/ERC, 1260, 2040-ERC and 2060 boards.
  12. Kickstart 1.2, 1.3, 2.05, 3.0 and 3.1 are currently tested ROM images.

  17.  BlizKick main features include:

  20. - Added BBlank & NewAlert modules by Jens Lorenz.
  21. - BKMODPATH env-variable.
  22. - QUIET switch.
  23. - KICKFILE * can be used to kick original ROM found on chip.

  25. - LOCALFAST relocates memheaders to fast memory.

  27. - Support for BLIZZARD 1240-T/ERC, 2040-ERC and 2060!
  28. - Fixed bug from EXTRESBUF. Now it really should work with on all boards.

  32. - Can be run any time (no more need to start before SetPatch on 1260)

  42. - No kickstart file preparation or similar is needed. You can just save any
  43.   ROM image and give it to BlizKick!
  44. - Can make memory on Blizzard board LOCAL, bypass flashy boot of the board
  45.   and speed up ROM boot.
  46. - Doesn't use MMU, KickMem, KickTag, ColdCapture or CoolCapture vectors.
  47.   -> 100% transparent!
  48. - BlizKick is as OS compatible as possible: Doesn't use any additional
  49.   memory (except those 512K and memory used by EXTRESBUF, if specified),
  50.   coolcapture, coldcapture, kickmem or kicktag vectors.
  51. - Works with KS 1.0+ There's really no use for this, except for restoring
  52.   original Kickstart after using Kickstart 1.x. Well, maybe some freaks
  53.   like to boot KS 3.x from disk... ;-)
  54. - Tested with BLIZZARD 1230-I @ 40MHz, BLIZZARD 1230-III @ 50MHz, BLIZZARD
  55.   1230-IV @ 50 MHz, BLIZZARD 1240-T/ERC @ 40 MHz, BLIZZARD 1260 @ 50MHz,
  56.   BLIZZARD 2040-ERC @ 40 MHz and BLIZZARD 2060 @ 50 MHz turbo boards.
