  3.             MyStore 3.x ORGANIZATION

  6. Your main MyStore file folder is organized into four files and six
  7. sub folders.
  8.  
  9. "storefront.htm" and "promoout.htm" are located here because they
  10. are the most likely files that you will edit outside of those in
  11. the "Database" and "Layouts" folders.  
  12.  
  13. The "Graphics" folder contains all of the image files that are used
  14. generally throughout the store. They require no changes.
  15.  
  16. The "Files" folder contains many of the functional files. They
  17. generally require no changes, but some may be refined after geting 
  18. your store set up.
  19.  
  20. The "Templates" folder contains the basic database files and a few
  21. spare files.  These setup instructions will indicate when templates
  22. are needed.  This is also a handy folder in which to locate copies of
  23. files that you are about to change.
  24.  
  25. You will be mainly concerned with the "Database" and "Layouts" folders.
  26. The "Layouts" folder contains three graphic images and a "Buttons" sub
  27. folder.  These folders hold all image files used to set the look of your
  28. store.  The images can be .gif or .jpg file types.  Gif files are usually
  29. used for their compact size and transparent background.
