The object of the game is to make an obscene amount of money by releasing 100 movies all over the world and at a theater near you.
To make movies you'll be buying scripts and novels and having them rewritten until you're happy with them. Then you have to budget the movie, hire movie stars, pick a release date, and you're off to the World Premiere of your new movie.
If your movie is good enough, you get nominated for awards, and if you win Best Picture, you get to make a speech.
As you play, if you find yourself unsure of how to proceed, simply click your mouse on "Hint" (see it up there at the top of the screen...give it a click right now) and a little screen will pop up with directions on how to proceed, along with some glossary words if you don't yet know Hollywood jargon.
