Welcome to Thomas Warfield's Pretty Good Solitaire 97!
Pretty Good Solitaire 97 is a collection of 160 solitaire
games, from classic games like Klondike, FreeCell, and
Spider, to 15 original games invented especially for
the program.

different games can be created.
-- IMPORTANT NOTICE --
Pretty Good Solitaire 97 is a 32-bit program for Windows
95 and NT. It will not run under Windows 3.1. A 16-bit
program that has many of the same features as this
program, Pretty Good Solitaire 2.2, is also available.

-- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS --
Run the program SETUP.EXE.
-- RUNNING THE PROGRAM --
To run the games, run the file GOODSOL.EXE. To play a
particular game, click on its name on the main screen. To
see the rules for a particular game, goto the help menu or
press F1. In most games, the cards can be moved by
drag and drop. Also, to quickly move a card, try
right-clicking on the card. For a guide on how to use
Pretty Good Solitaire, read the tips provided by the
program at startup.
-- HOW TO REGISTER --
This program is shareware. Continued use of Pretty Good
Solitaire beyond a 30-day evaluation period requires
registration. Registration will bring you instructions on
how to get rid of the registration reminder screens and
other benefits (see the help file). Some features of this
program will be disabled after the 30 day trial period and
you must register to continue use. To register, print out
the registration form in the help file and send $24 (plus
$5 shipping if you want disks) to:

The 16-bit Windows 3.1 Pretty Good Solitaire program
was originally released on July 19, 1995. The current
version is version 2.2 (Feb. 1, 1997).
