* Alt-F brings up the main menu, as does a right-click or the system
menu button.
* Ctrl-Eject or Ctrl-Play load locations. Shift-Play loads files.
Shift-Eject loads dirs
* Ctrl-Previous rewinds to the first song in the playlist.
* Shift-Stop fades out the music and then stops it.
* Easymove allows you to move Winamp by clicking and dragging in any
unused portion of the Winamp window.
* The keys Z,X,C,V,B "map" to the five control buttons.
* The numeric keypad, when NumLock is on, adds even more shortcuts:
4 is last, 6 is next, 5 is play, 7 and 9 rewind and fastfoward,
1 and 3 jump 10 songs back and 10 songs forward, 0 opens a file,
. jumps to a file in the playlist.
* The up and down arrows adjust the volume bar
* The left and right arrows fast-forward and rewind the song 5 seconds at
a time (as do Shift-Prev and Shift-Next)
* Ctrl-Tab cycles between all open Winamp windows (the main window, EQ and
playlist editor)
* Try using Always on Top and Windowshade mode to put Winamp on the top of
your screen. Nifty eh?
* Right clicking on various parts of the main interface will being up
context menus presenting the different functions of the interface.
* Ctrl+J jumps to a specific point in the current song. J jumps to a song
in the playlist.
* You can now resize the playlist editor!
* You can drag & drop files from the Windows Explorer into Winamp. Hold
down shift if you want to add the files to the playlist rather than
clearing the list and playing them.
* Alt+3 opens the file info box, as does doubleclicking the
songname field.
* Try holding shift while dragging the position bar
* To access plug-ins, go to Options/Preferences/Plug-ins
* To select a skin, use Alt+S or Options/Select Skin
