  6. 1. Description
  7.  
  8.      Ever been in a corner in HERETIC where a few extra crystals
  9.      would mean the difference between life and death, but you don't
  10.      want to use the cheat code as that gets you armed to the teeth ?.
  11.  
  12.      Well if you have this program is for you, it allows you to add/remove
  13.      weapons and change the amount of ammo for you are carrying.
  14.  
  15.      This program is designed to edit values in the HERETIC saved game files,
  16.      but only for one player games as it would be totally unfair to use it
  17.      on cooperative/ deathmatch games.
  18.  
  19.      Works with the registered version of HERETIC.

  21. 1. Installation
  22.  
  23.       Copy HTIC_EDT.EXE to the main HERETIC directory
  24.

  26. 2. Running the editor.
  27.  
  28.       BACKUP your saved games ( *.HSG ) before editing.
  29.  
  30.       Type HTIC_EDT an the DOS prompt.
  31.  
  32.       Select the saved game you want to edit from the list shown.
  33.  
  34.       Follow the instructions on the screen to edit the saved game.
  35.  
  36.       Press F10 to save the edited file, or ESC to leave the file
  37.       unchanged.
