SPACE QUEST 6 INTERACTIVE DEMO
Welcome to another in the series of Roger Wilco's bumbling
but good hearted adventures. We hope you'll find this demo entertaining
and that, most importantly of course, it will make you want to
shell out those hard-earned buckazoids for the full blown game.
(Ken Williams made me say that part. You know how bosses are!)
There are plenty of puzzles to solve here, but please note that
they are an entirely different set of puzzles from what you will
find in the real game so, by playing this all the way through, you
will not be shorted on play value when you get the entire game.
Hopefully, it will give you some bonus enjoyment. That indeed is
our aim. (Along with wanting to sell a whole lot of these suckers!)
Enjoy!
LOADING A VESA DRIVER
Space Quest VI Demo will require that your video card supports
VESA - a special video driver that allows your video card to
display the high resolution graphics on your computer. Many
of the modern video cards have VESA drivers built in. Other
video cards may require that you load a VESA driver prior to
launching the game.
The Space Quest VI Demo CD contains a set of the most common
VESA driver for the more common video cards. If the game will
not load because it indicates you need a VESA driver, look in
the VESA directory on the CD and see if there is a driver for
your video card. Loading a VESA driver for each video card
requires different steps. For complete instructions about
loading a VESA driver for your video card, please consult your
video card documentation or contact your video card
manufacturer.
