  9. This is mostly a bugfix release. This is the last 1.x version. Next version, which already
  10. is been worked on, will be 2.0.

  12. This version is for MC68020/Kickstart 3.0 and higher. A MC68000/kickstart 2.0
  13. version of AmiComSys version 1.20 may be found at http://surf.to/AmiComSys/

  18. AmiComSys is a program that you use to communicate with other people on
  19. a tcp/ip-net - e.g Internet. At the same time it make it easier to find
  20. people's IP-addresses, for use with Internet games, and home pages.

  22. It uses AMarquee.library by Jeremy Friesner & Håkan Parting for most of
  23. it's network handling.
  24.  
  25. Now you can say "Hello!" to your friends on the net, or just see if they are
  26. online.

  28. You can:

  31. * send WEB-requests.
  32. * transfer files.
  33. * have a public realtime chat
  34. * have a private realtime chat, with photos.
  35. * check your Pagoo message box.

  104. NEW:
  105. Fixed the PChat picture so whole the picture is visible if it has a size of
  106. 400x400 or less. Pictures bigger than 200x210 get scrollers. High quality dither is
  107. used (AmigaOS 3.5). Status text show "loading picture ..." while loading and decoding
  108. the picture.

  110. The message requesters take the real font size in account when calculating
  111. the window size.

  113. Changed the layout of the new message window.

  115. Added "don't show any" to the
  116. "Put picture" cycle button in the Windows->Chat-settings. Select it to disable
  117. pictures in the PChat.

  119. The PChat picture is now put on the top right if it's set to to be put to the
  120. right in the settings.

  122. BUGFIX:
  123. In low memory situations when AmiComSys failed to open the main window it tried to change
  124. the toolbar layout. Removed it because it is of no use anymore when the toolbars is inside scrollers.

  126. The Show/Toolbars did not hide/show the toolbars under AmigaOS 3.5.

  128. Very rare the error message "Connection broken by sender" could
  129. show up at the end of a SendFile session.

  131. Sometimes it was not possible to click the "Download"-picture
  132. button in the PChat. At least on AmigaOS3.5 systems.

  134. Packed with a Y2K fixed LHA/LZX.

  136. The download of pictures in the PChat did not work on fast Amigas, like 68060 or so.

  138. There was a problem with the CPS-counter in the SendFile on 68060 machines. Had to change presentation
  139. to bytes/s instead of kbytes/s.

  144. BUGFIX: Of course Pagoo changed something on the release date of AmiComSys 1.30 :(
