  9. Boot from this disk!

  11. This disk has been configured to work with any 1Mb amiga from an A500 to
  12. an A4000. Users with more memory, hard disk drives and WB2.1 or greater
  13. can take advantage of the additional utilities on the extras disk in the
  14. full release version.

  18. Hard Disk Users
  19. ---------------

  21. 1) Make a new directory on your Hard Drive.
  22.  
  23. 2) Copy    the following files from this disk into your new directory.

  25.          Acidlibs
  26.          Blitz2
  27.          Blitz2.info
  28.          Deflibs
  29.          Defaultdbug    
  30.          Help
  31.          Help.dat
  32.          Ted
  33.          Ted.info

  35. 3) Add the following to your startup-sequence or type it into a shell
  36.    before running Blitz.

  38.          Assign BLITZ2: <your hd>:<your new directory>     
  39.  
  40. 4) If you want to try out the new editor, just replace the Ted file in
  41.    your new directory with the Ted file on the examples disk.
  42.  
  43.    NB: Please note that the new editor is only compatible with WB2.1 or
  44.        greater Amigas.

  51. You cannot create stand alone executables with this demo and a lot of
  52. the new Blitz features are on the extras disk (release version only).
  53.  
  54. The extras disk (release version) contains:
  55.  
  56. * BigDeflibs.lha  - all the amigalibs and third party libraries' object
  57.                     code compiled into one file.
  58.  
  59. * Blitzlibs.lha   - all the object code for amigalibs and the third party
  60.                     libraries and the resident files and utilities.
  61.  
  62. * LibsDev.lha     - an archive for advanced users wanting to create their
  63.                     own libraries. It contains documentation, example
  64.                     library source code and test examples for the third
  65.                     party libraries.
  66.  
  67. * NewDebugger.lha - an advanced debugging utility that allows you to
  68.                     view copper lists, memory, etc.
  69.  
  70. * NewTeditor.lha  - an Amiga style-guide compliant editor that requires
  71.                     WB2.1 or greater.
