  12. ReqAttack is an  incredible cool new requester  improver similiar to ARQ. It
  13. is the successor of KeyReq and improves  the look and handling of requesters
  14. of all programs  which use the standard system requester  functions (EasyRe-
  15. questArgs, AutoRequest, BuildEasyRequestArgs, BuildSysRequest) for that pur-
  16. pose.

  19. CHANGES IN V 1.1:

  22. o New version of CyReq.  Stack swapping is now also used
  23.   in the  AutoRequest() patch --> no more  problems with
  24.   SmartCrash.
  25.  
  26. o The  EasyRequestArgs()  and AutoRequest()  patches  of
  27.   ReqAttack,  which are only  activated if  CyReq is not
  28.   running, now are almost  100 % identical with the ones
  29.   in CyReq, incl. Stack swapping etc.

  31. o New configuration  item REQTEXTALIGN  which  allows to
  32.   change the alignment of the requester text lines.
  33.  
  34. o New  configuration item  FUNCTIONKEYS which  allows to
  35.   switch on button activation by function keys.

  37. o Improved GFX card support thanks to Stephan Rupprecht.
  38.   On hicolor and truecolor screens button images and re-
  39.   quester logos are now by  default created  in the same
  40.   color depth. By doing so color remapping is not requi-
  41.   red anymore and this leads to better quality. On 8 Bit
  42.   GFX cards screens the  bitmaps are now by default cre-
  43.   ated in chunky format to avoid blink effects. Configu-
  44.   ration item BITMAPFLAGS.

  46. o New compare operation IN.

  48. o New CHECKITEM  PROGNAME2. The description  of PROGNAME
  49.   was wrong, beside that.

  51. o Animated logos are displayed with much less flickering
  52.   on standard Amiga screens as well, if the screen is in
  53.   interleaved format.

  55. o The requesters were opened  with IDCMP_CLOSEWINDOW de-
  56.   spite the requester windows not having a close gadget.
  57.   Because of  this pressing  ESCAPE did  not work if one
  58.   used the commodity NED.

  60. o New configuration item DONOTPATCH.

  62. o New tool  WinInfo  which is  helpful to  find out what
  63.   task/process has opened a  certain requester (or other
  64.   window).

  66. o It is now possible to stop the execution of the confi-
  67.   guration file at any time by using STOP.

  79.   keys. Activation  of highlighted gadget with RETURN  and another configur-
  80.   able key (default LCOMMAND v). Activation of rightmost gadget width ESCAPE
  81.   and another configurable  key (default LCOMMAND b).  Activation of buttons
  82.   by keyboard can  be aborted by  pressing SHIFT or ESCAPE  before releasing
  83.   the button activation key.

  85. o Possibility to drag the requesters around by clicking anywhere in the win-
  86.   dow.

  88. o Possibility to make the requesters open in the center of the screen or un-
  89.   der the mouse pointer.

  93. o It's possible  to configure  almost  everything, like  spacing between the
  94.   single elements  of the  requester and  it's alignment,  the color  of the
  95.   highlight rectangle and much more.
