  6. JpegTool allows you to convert any image that is recognized by 
  7. datatypes into a jpeg image and vice versa.

  9. Features (mainly provided by jpeg.library)
  10.  · can create thumbnails from jpegs.
  11.  · allows to create progressive images (jpeglib v5).
  12.  · provides block smoothing for decompression (jpeglib v5).
  13.  · dct method (jpeglib v4) as well as quality and smoothing
  14.    factor can be changed.
  15.  · optionally creates grayscale images.
  16.  · graphical user interface based on ARexx and Triton.

  19.  1.8  depending on the datatypes.library used, using ILBM/S could cause
  20.       enforcer hits.  <Nils Goers>. Now complains when DTN option is used
  21.       and datatypes.library v45 isn't installed. Updated JpegToolGUI.
