  11.    Right. Unfortunately, I lost my net connection (including access to
  12.    my CVS server) for over a week when Rydnet was officially closed
  13.    down, after more than five years of operation. As a side note, I
  14.    joined in November 1994, I think, and the A4000 I connected back
  15.    then is still the only computer I have at home (not counting the
  16.    C-64 and C-128D). Funny how time flies, isn't it? <grin>
  17.    
  18.    Anyway, enough of this drivel. Here is the source code you've all
  19.    been waiting for, and here are some binaries, in case you don't
  20.    feel like feeding me with patches.
  21.    
  22.    The anti-click settings can be adjusted from the preferences
  23.    program, or by the developer by using AHIA_AntiClickSamples in
  24.    AHI_AllocAudioA() and by using the AHISB_NODELAY bit.

  26.     Current status
  27.     
  28.      * All hifi mixing routines for the PowerPC are there.
  29.      * None of the hifi mixing routines for the m68k are there yet.
  30.      * Assembler echo and master volume is missing.
  31.      * Non-hifi mixing routines in C are included. They're not
  32.        supposed to be used for spead reasons, but to get that groovy
  33.        Paula feeling (bribes do work, Jan!). Unfortunately, echo is
  34.        missing in non-hifi modes, but that will be added soon.
  35.      * Still no WarpUp support. I seem to have broken the ELF loader I
  36.        got from Frank Wille. I'm investigating, but patches are
  37.        welcome.
  38.      * The packaging is not finished yet. This includes installer
  39.        script, updated documentation, proper source archive that
  40.        includes the drivers and a prober developer archive with header
  41.        files et cetera.
  42.      * I need to update the BGUI and ClassAct preferences programs to
  43.        support the global anti-click settings. Or even better, ditch
  44.        them all for a OS 3.5 version. We'll see.

  46.    That's it. As soon as the problems above are fixed, and I have
  47.    added a none mixing mode (for streaming applications like mp3
  48.    players), I'll bump the version number to 5 and release it
  49.    officially.
