  10. »CL0:Today Magical Moments met one of the
  11. best coders in the Amiga scene; Offa
  12. of The Black Lotus managed to release
  13. within a one year period four great
  14. demos together with his friend
  15. Equalizer. Offa: "Hi! I am Offa part
  16. of TBL in Sweden. My biggest demos on
  17. Amiga were Tint, Goa, Glow and
  18. Captured Dreams." A high quality serie
  19. of demos produced by Mattias Gruvman
  20. which is Offa's real name. Sadly all
  21. things come to an end one day and Offa
  22. started to work for a software company
  23. after Captured Dreams was released. "I
  24. started with demos about 9 years ago
  25. but right after The Gathering 1997 I
  26. started work for Digital Illusions in
  27. Gothenburg." Offa comments.

  32. his scene adventures. "Making new
  33. friends both in TBL and the rest of
  34. the scene. I've had great fun on both
  35. small coding meetings aswell as big
  36. parties." Offa comments and continues
  37. "The best parties have been the
  38. Assembly were we met the allways crazy
  39. finns."

  47.        meet the other TBL'ers that
  48.        live here in Gothenburg almost
  49.        every weekend. We plan a TBL
  50.        meeting in Holland this
  51.        +summer. (Since we got half the
  52.        members there)"

  56.        as Captured Dreams would be
  57.        released. We have a new no1:
  58.        'Relic by Nerve Axis' Can we
  59.        stick to your promise?"

  63.        I guess it won't happen that I
  64.        sit in front of an Amiga again.

  66.        the demo I saw last I guess I'm
  67.        not following Amiga anymore. A
  68.        nice PC emulator would be nice
  69.        since I don't got a fast amiga
  70.        connected to the net here at
  71.        the office. I've seen some of
  72.        the latest PC demos though, and
  73.        they seldom have the same
  74.        'feeling' as a good Amiga demo
  75.        has."

  79.        surprised to see TBL using
  80.        graphics by good old Facet, as
  81.        he didn't represent the level
  82.        of Danny, Rodney and Louie. Why
  83.        TBL still used it? Because of
  84.        his legendary name? How is the
  85.        contact with the famous Dutch
  86.        TBL'ers?"

  89.        allways we used all graphics we
  90.        got since graphicians are lazy
  91.        by nature :) Facet and Supernao
  92.        show up now and then. Not even
  93.        the TBLers in Holland know
  94.        their whereabouts all the time.

  104. interview Sweden won the Song Festival
  105. in Israel! A Pamela Anderson
  106. look-a-like doing Abba :) There wasn't
  107. a force on earth to congratulate Offa
  108. and ask for a comment.. Offa: "Trust
  109. me.. If you knew which other
  110. contenders competed, Sweden was best
  111. as it was. And btw the whole festival
  112. is lame :)"

  117. had one big release sofar (Motorhead,
  118. arcadish driving game on PC and PSX).
  119. I'm currently working on a game called
  120. Rally Masters." Offa comments. But he
  121. might comeback on PC.. "Well.. since
  122. I'm used to PC as platform it would be
  123. PC and windows based. And then it's
  124. atleast possible. Me and Equalizer
  125. have actually discussed it.. But we
  126. haven't got any further than that! I
  127. can mention that Louie has been
  128. involved in the making of a tech demo
  129. on the newest Matrox card. (with some
  130. other guys at the office) Take a look

  134. in a office downtown Gothenborg in
  135. Sweden! But why focus on games when
  136. alot of them are pirated. Also on the
  137. Playstation! Offa: "Well I hope people
  138. buy games if they like them. And still
  139. if you compare piracy on PSX vs. PC. I
  140. think it's alot more on PC."
