  2.        The Strategy Plus "Am I DOOMed" Tournament Pairings
  3.  
  4.      Below are the Round One matchups for the upcoming DOOM 
  5.      deathmatch tournament. The kickoff date for the tourney has been 
  6.      scheduled for May 14th. 
  7.      Each round of the tourney must be completed within one week 
  8.      after we post the pairings and the results must be called in to 
  9.      Marc at Strategy Plus at (802) 860-6467 and can be left on the 
  10.      answering machine. 
  11.      A match constitutes the best two out of three falls. 
  12.      The intensity level will be left at "Hey, Not Too Rough" and the 
  13.      game will utilize the first episode, "Knee-Deep in the Dead". 
  14.      Because relatively few monsters will be present, a kill is a 
  15.      kill, whether it come from your opponents gun or a passing 
  16.      monster.
  17.      The player listed on top of each bracket is responsible for 
  18.      making the first call, the player on bottom for the second, and 
  19.      the player on top again for any tie breaking games. Players 
  20.      advancing on to the next level must call in to Strategy Plus 
  21.      each Monday to determine who their next opponent will be.
  22.      Players unable to connect must notify me within one week of 
  23.      the posting. Forfeitures will result for failure to do so. Like-
  24.      wise, players unavailable for play (sickness, vacation, etc.),
  25.      forfeit their matches, the available player awarded a "bye"
  26.      victory. We will attempt to keep the tourney moving as swiftly
  27.      as possible, hopefully concluding the tourney before the July
  28.      4th holiday.
