director at 'Go-Go Studios in Austin, Texas. We make
entertainment software. I don't get enough from
designing and building 3D enviroments at work, so
I make Doom2 PWADs in my spare time. I.e., man w/o
a life.
Description : Strictly a Deathmatch level for Doom 2,
Replaces Level 21.

Level info : It's nuts! You'll hate me if you download this level! Its
too hard. Nobody should have to play it. But you will.
Again and a again, you'll comeback because of its simplicity,
its elegance, and its beauty. Everyone's been telling me to
make some small levels. Inspired by the terriffic Danzig series
as well as level 4 of Fragiii I and a few other tight levels I
came up with this scorcher. Its very small yet full of intricate
details. Every weapon can be reached quickly, yet a couple are
very tricky. All of the columns in the central temple lower; two
come down when you 'lay your hands' on the inverted crucifex;
the other four come down two at a time when you slide off of the
east and west sides of the two platforms that hold the BFG and
the plasma rifle. The northern 'outside' area can be reached via
a very well hidden door. Look at the map, then look around the
room with the view to the outside for a green button. The sniper
spot which covers the central temple is fully camouflauged. But
it is actually quite vulnerable to rockets, hence the instant exit.
The exit is also quite difficult, especially if you're the only
one ready to quite the level. Ride the southwest column in the
central temple to its raised position. Look north, push the switch,
the door to the exit switch opens to the southeast, (its in the
same room). Turn around and push the switch to the south, the column
lowers. Immediately run towards the southeast, look on the south
wall for the open doorway. This whole level is pretty tough, but
for my fellow deathmatchers who are getting bored, I think that
you'll love it. We've had a blast testing it this week.
