  14. Sound Driver Setup

  17.  When using a Sound Blaster 16 compatible card, the auto-detect feature of 
  18. the HMI sound driver software will sometimes detect it as a Sound Blaster AWE 
  19. 32. If this happens, re-run the auto detect. If it still reports the sound 
  20. card incorrectly, please use the manual settings.
  21.  
  22.  There is no need to select a driver for midi as there is no midi music in
  23. the game. If you have selected a driver, and wish to remove the selection, 
  24. you should delete the hmiset.cfg file in the sound sub-directory, and re-run
  25. the setup program.

  32. Presentation

  35.  During any of the presentation, you may use the mouse, the joystick/joypad
  36. (if selected), or the keyboard.

  38.  CURSOR KEYS control the movement of the mouse cursor, and RETURN acts as
  39. the mouse button.

  41. Connect now screens

  44.  Pressing RETURN has the same effect as clicking on the connect button.
  45.  Pressing ESCAPE has the same effect as clicking on the cancel button.

  47.  On the serial connect screen pressing the CURSOR KEYS changes the comlink
  48. number.

  50.  Additionally, during the network connect countdown, when you are certain 
  51. that ALL players have pressed the connect button the countdown can be aborted
  52. by clicking the left mouse button with mouse at the top left corner of the
  53. screen. All players must do this within a short time interval.

  90.  When purchasing items from the chopshop, you are allowed one special weapon
  91. upgrade per visit. The bars indicate that no further purchases of the upgrade
  92. are available at this time.

  95. General points

  98.  In the manual it states that as well as being able to pick cash up from the
  99. tracks, you can also pick up health bonuses and nitros. These are actually
  100. only available from a road-kill, although cash available as a pickup.

  102.  If more than one player should choose a given bike during a multi-player
  103. game, then the connect now screen will abort after connection and the game 
  104. will return to the character selection screens.

  106.  In the manual it states that if you want hints or tips for the game you 
  107. should call the given 900 number and that you "Must be 18 nor have 
  108. parents permission". This should of course read "Must be 18 *or* have 
  109. parents permission".
