  1. Upgrade Information for Webalizer V1.21 and higher
  2.  
  3. Some significant changes have occured between V1.20 and V1.21 of
  4. the Webalizer.  Additional configuration keywords have been added
  5. and incremental processing has been modified.  Due to these changes,
  6. the following must be observed:
  7.  
  8. Old incremental data files are no longer compatable with the new
  9. version.  Remove any existing incremental data files before running
  10. the new version.  This version also adds the ability to define the
  11. name and location of the incremental data file.  It will default to
  12. the normal name and location (webalizer.current in the specified
  13. output directory), however can be changed to an alternate location.
  14. See "IncrementalName" and "HistoryName" configuration directives.
  15. Note: you may check existing data files by looking at the first
  16. line of the file... if it doesn't start with "# Webalizer ", then
  17. it is an old style file and needs to be removed.

  19. The configuration file has changed, however the only significant
  20. difference is the definition of the HTMLHead keyword, which has
  21. been changed in this version.  If you were using the HTMLHead
  22. keyword in previous versions, change it to "HTMLBody", in order
  23. to have it work as expected (as in previous versions).  See the
  24. README file for additional information.
