  1. Much of the software on this CD-ROM is designated as some form 
  2. of "Shareware."  Shareware software is not free.  Shareware is 
  3. a try-before-you-buy method of software distribution.  Please 
  4. read the individual author's comments on the registration of 
  5. his or her product.  If you use a Shareware product you should 
  6. pay for it - just like commercial software.  Shareware authors 
  7. rely on your good will and honesty.

  9. Some software, however, is designated "Public domain" or 
  10. "freeware." Such software usually will not require any 
  11. registration.  If a registration is required it is usually just 
  12. a post card to the author - to let him or her know that you
