Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this doc.
As you well know, this program was written entirely in Amos. If you would
like to obtain the latest version of it, the entire source code for the
program, along with a MASSIVE 25,500+ word dictionary, read on.
The disk can be obtained for the meagre amount of £5.00 (mainland Britain),
to cover postage, packaging, the disk and copying. (Overseas readers...
£8.00 in Europe, £10.00 for the rest of the world.) Please only send
payment in sterling.
Please make cheques/postal orders payable to 'David Schofield', and send
them, along with your name and address, to:

Splel Chicker requires 1 meg. If you could load the version on this disk,
you should be able to load the latest version.
Cash (sterling notes only, please) is sent at your own risk.
In return, you will receive a disk containing the following:
» The latest Splel Chicker program (with "Merge dictionary" feature)
» A 25,500+ word Splel Chicker dictionary!
» Full AMOS source code for latest version of Splel Chicker
» Program instructions in both AmigaGuide and ASCII format
» Examples of routines being used independently, in source code format
» More Amos source code
All orders will be dispatched as soon as is humanely possible, but please
allow 28 days for delivery, just in case.
The Amos source code is fully Amos Classic (i.e. Amos V1.34) compatible. It
is supplied in two forms: a fully commented version (about 190K long), and
a version with the comments removed (about 100K).
You will then be entitled to use any part of the program in your own AMOS
programs. Examine it, teach yourself new techniques, and then copy the
routines anyway. (E.g. the file requestor, all the user interface
procedures, the 'System Request' routine, the procedure that outlines,
embosses, and produces shadows for text, the error routines, and much, much
more.) Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you are bound to find it
useful.
Thank you.
