  20.         THE BIG GAME IS OUR FIRST ATTEMPT AT ANY GAME ON THE AMIGA, SO WE
  21.         HOPE YOU ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS WE DID IN MAKING IT. BASICALLY IT IS
  22.         ANOTHER FRUIT MACHINE / BANDIT GAME, BUT WITH A LITTLE ARCADE BIT
  23.         IN THE FORM OF A SHOOTING GALLERY AS ONE OF THE MANY FEATURES....

  26.        NOT THAT THE GAME ITSELF NEEDS A LOT OF EXPLANATION, BUT JUST INCASE
  27.        YOU ARE NOT AN AVID "SLOTTER"... HERE IS A QUICK RUN DOWN OF SOME OF
  28.        THE FEATURES BUILT INTO WHAT WE THINK IS A DAMNED GOOD FRUIT MACHINE
  29.        GAME, WITH JUST THAT LITTLE BIT EXTRA.. WE LIKE TO THINK OF THE GAME
  30.        AS JUST FOR FUN AND SO CLASS ALL FIGURES AS POINTS.. NOT PENNIES....

  39.        The main screen is one of a quite standard slot machine, but for the
  40.        sake of clarity I will explain a little bit about the buttons etc.
  41.        
  42.          Like most fruit machines the two most important buttons are the
  43.            
  44.                  START BUTTON      AND THE      GAMBLE BUTTON
  45.  
  46.          In this game the START BUTTON also doubles as the COLLECT BUTTON.
  47.          and the GAMBLE BUTTON is used in all of the gamble features apart
  48.          from the HIGHER or LOWER gamble when a win occurs.This option has
  49.          its own set of buttons which will appear as required.

  52.          The HOLD BUTTONS will light up when a hold is available and these
  53.            also double as the NUDGE BUTTONS when any nudges are available.

  55.          NOTE ALSO that there are both UP and DOWN NUDGE BUTTONS when this
  56.                                       happens.

  62.        All reels score in the standard form of wins for two or three fruits
  63.  
  64.        Each reel of fruit contains certain special fruits that give you the
  65.        chance of gaining access to either NUDGES or THE BIG GAME section.
  66.                         These are made up as follows..

  69.        FRUIT WITH RED BOXES...          gives bonus towards nudges.
  70.        FRUIT WITH YELLOW BOXES...       gives bonus towards  THE BIG GAME.
  71.        FRUIT WITH BLUE BOXES AND (?)    gives random bonus to one of
  72.                                         the above mentioned features.

  77. example.  Fruit with a RED BOX will give you bonus towards NUDGE FEATURE
  78.           the amount of bonus depends on the number in the box.

  80.           Fruit with a YELLOW BOX gives you bonus towards THE BIG GAME...
  81.           again the amount of bonus depends on the number in the box.

  83.           Fruit with a BLUE BOX gives you a random feature bonus and also
  84.           random number for that feature.

  89. NUDGES.

  92.         If you light up all of the lights on the NUDGE feature, you will be
  93.         given a random number of nudges with which to try to a win points.
  94.         If the FEATURE HOLD is lit, any remaining nudges after a win, will
  95.         be saved until you next gain NUDGES and will be added.

  100. THE BIG GAME.

  103.       If you are lucky or  good enough to light up all of the Dark Red lights
  104.       of THE BIG GAME feature you will be rewarded with a chance to gain more
  105.       points from the SHOOTING GALLERY section with a random number of shoots
  106.       with which to do so.
  107.       
  108.        BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT SHOOTING ANYTHING THAT IS NOT JUST A FRUIT WILL 
  109.        RESULT IN A MINUS SCORE... SO AVOID HITTING THE CREATURES.... 
  110.  
  111.        When you have use all of your shots, you will be placed back into the
  112.        main game and all winnings will be deposited in your bank.
  113.  
  114.        You will also get a chance to play the shooting gallery again by using
  115.        the GAMBLE BUTTON to try and stop the flashing lights at the top..

  122.       I cant think of much else that you will need to get you started, so go
  123.       ahead and have a game or two to get used to it.

  126.       This game is free to all Amiga users, but any small tokens of gratitude

  132.       As is the NORM... No warranty what so ever is given with this software,
  133.       but then again I can't see any reason to do so as it harmless fun.....

  137.       Oh yeh!  just incase you think the odds are stacked against you in the
  138.       game.... there is a special feature to help you on your way to the big
  139.       scores.......  BUT in the time old tradition... thats for you to find.
