  1. This text file contains the licence and contact information from the
  2. StrongHelp docs (in case you don't have StrongHelp). Obviously you will need
  3. StrongHelp if you wish to browse the StrongHelp documentation and have
  4. something useful happen when you click on the ‘?’ icons in the dialogue
  5. boxes. Interactive help will provide some information but in no great detail.

  13. 1.30 is mainly a bug fix for a potentially serious problem with handling
  14. maintenance filenames. Also title files are closed correctly if MovieDB it
  15. quit while in exact mode and the "portrayed in" field has been added to
  16. biography expansions.

  18. Since the changes to the memory management system in 1.29 advanced search is
  19. now worse than ever. Advanced search (yeah, right!) has never really worked
  20. very well anyway so I'm deferring fixing it until I can rewrite the whole
  21. thing properly.

  29. MovieDB is *FreeWare*. It must only be distributed in its /original/ archive
  30. form (ie as it appears on my web page) and there must be no charge for it.
  31. The contents of the data files generated by this software remain the
  32. copyright of the IMDb and must not be distributed in any form as this
  33. violates the IMDb copyright (see below).

  35. Please note that the IMDb data files are covered under a different license
  36. from this software. Please see the copyright details in any of the IMDb .list
  37. files for details. Your attention is particularly drawn to the restrictions
  38. on CD-ROM distributions.

  41. pre-built copy of IMDb) you *must* seek permission from the IMDb who can be
  42. contacted at licensing@imdb.com.

  48. fully acknowledge using this to verify the correct operation of MovieDB! I
  49. used it regularly myself until MovieDB was working. :-) Thanks to all the
