  1. !WatchTV adapts automatically to the configured language if the corresponding
  2. messages etc. are available. For this purpose, a Resources directory is
  3. contained in the application, in which a subdirectory for each language
  4. supported resides. If the language you need isn't in there, please feel free
  5. to duplicate any of these language directories and translate the contents.

  7. When you run the program, a utility called ResFind is called, which reads the
  8. language your computer is configured to and then looks for the corresponding
  9. language directory. If this fails, the program will run in English (UK). By
  10. setting several system variables (best done in your system !Boot file), you
  11. can change the language looked for. With this you can make sure a program runs
  12. in a certain language, e.g. to avoid a weird translation. Furthermore it is
  13. possible to name several languages you prefer to English.

  15. This is controlled by three system variables:
  16. WatchTV$Language, ResFind$LanguagesPref and ResFind$Languages$Suff.

  18. When running the application, ResFind looks for the first language supported
  19. along the following list of languages:
  20. 1. Contents of the variable WatchTV$Language
  21. 2. Contents of the variable ResFind$LanguagesPref
  22. 3. The configured language
  23. 4. Contents of the variable ResFind$LanguagesSuff
