- Program : Cache switcher for Risc PC 'CacheRCP2'.
-
- Purpose : Switches the ARM cache on and off.
-
- Author : Roger Wylde @ Nifty Software.

- Instructions
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
- CacheRPC2 is a small desktop task which allows the user
- to switch the ARM's cache on and off by clicking on the
- icon on the icon bar. The current state of the cache is
- graphically displayed as a normal picture of the chip
- or one with a cross through it (indicating the cache
- being disabled).
-
- 'Was there ever a CacheRPC1'
- Yes it was a similar program which did exactly the
- same thing as this version but took 260K, I have no
- idea why it was so inefficient. It was in turn just a
- slightly different version to 'Cache', my very first
- program which switched the ARM3 cache on my A5000 on
- and off.
-
- 'Why is the program icon a picture of a StrongARM'
- Quite simply because that's what's in my machine.
- Feel free to change it to a picture of your chosen
- processor. The original version had a picture of an
- ARM3, strangely enough because I had an A5000.

- This program is freeware, you may copy it as much as you like,
- but never charge more than nominal amounts (ie. for time and
- media). If you feel the urge to include it on a PD/Cover CD
- then I'd like a free copy or at least a discount on buying it.

- No responsibility can be accepted for the results of the use
- or misuse of this application.
