  10. CacheRPC2 is a small desktop task which allows the user
  11. to switch the ARM's cache on and off by clicking on the
  12. icon on the icon bar. The current state of the cache is
  13. graphically displayed as a normal picture of the chip
  14. or one with a cross through it (indicating the cache
  15. being disabled).

  17. 'Was there ever a CacheRPC1'
  18. Yes it was a similar program which did exactly the
  19. same thing as this version but took 260K, I have no
  20. idea why it was so inefficient. It was in turn just a
  21. slightly different version to 'Cache', my very first
  22. program which switched the ARM3 cache on my A5000 on
  23. and off.

  25. 'Why is the program icon a picture of a StrongARM'
  26. Quite simply because that's what's in my machine.
  27. Feel free to change it to a picture of your chosen
  28. processor. The original version had a picture of an
  29. ARM3, strangely enough because I had an A5000.

  34. This program is freeware, you may copy it as much as you like,
  35. but never charge more than nominal amounts (ie. for time and
  36. media). If you feel the urge to include it on a PD/Cover CD
  37. then I'd like a free copy or at least a discount on buying it.
